Being in the spotlight exposes one to all sorts of people. More often than not, these celebs will get bombarded with rude and unsolicited comments left by netizens, just like what this stunning celeb had encountered recently.
Amelia Henderson took to her Twitter over the weekend to share a screenshot of several text messages left by one of her fans online. As seen in the screenshot, the fan had asked the actress about her mixed heritage, but she ignored their text.
The netizen didn’t react too kindly after not receiving any response from Amelia. They then called the “Pulau” star for her “snobbish” attitude. He wrote, “F**k you. You are so arrogant. You think you’re so pretty, bitch?” Instead of lashing out, Amelia responded by tweeting, “Welcome to my DMs 😂,” along with a screenshot of the text messages.
In her subsequent post, the podcaster also revealed that she does read every single DM from her fans. “(And) most of my friends with large(r) followings do too! it’s normal to make mistakes when you’re young, you’re forgiven when you don’t make them again. but being mean is never funny, ‘influencers’ are real people who have bad days too!” the popular podcaster said.
Sometimes, the best way to respond to rude people is to call them out.
