Public littering is an ongoing problem that threatens the cleanliness of our environment. Despite the numerous awareness campaigns and regulations in place, some people choose to turn a blind eye on it.
Former Dusun Tua ADUN (Assemblyman), YB Tuan Edry Faizal Eddy Yusuf took to his Twitter to call out a local man after he was spotted throwing away his garbage on the side of the road. He posted a short clip showing the man, who was clad in a maroon t-shirt, alighted from his Perodua Myvi car, before he proceeded to cross the road and disposed the trash bag.

As seen in the footage, the face of the man is blurred. In addition, the public figure is offering cash reward to any individuals who can provide him with more information. “To those who knows the owner of this vehicle – plate number KFF6620 – please inform me. I’ll give you RM50 if you can provide accurate details about this man. Terms and conditions apply,” Tuan Edry tweeted.
His Twitter post attracted the attention of numerous online users. Many took to the comments section to criticise the man’s action. Some brought up the Kedah Menteri Besar in the conversation. Not to mention, others also called for the authorities to take action against the man. Another user on Twitter jokingly tweeted, “Give me RM1k instead, and I’ll provide your required info.”
In response to the netizens’ remarks, Tuan Edry came up with another tweet, saying, “Negative attitude is in every human being no matter where they come from. Focus on actions, instead of focusing on their race or their state.”
