Xiaomi has finally launched the latest smartphone from its highly popular Redmi Note series, the Redmi Note 7 in Malaysia yesterday (19th March 2019).
At the launch event, it is revealed that popular Malaysian actor and model, Aeril Zafrel has been chosen to be the face of Redmi Note 7, making him the first Malaysian ambassador for Xiaomi.
“I’ve always been a silent supporter of Xiaomi and have followed their products closely. I was waiting in anticipation for the phone’s arrival in Malaysia. When they approached me for Redmi Note 7, I jumped at the opportunity!” he said.

“I also like the fact that the phone has long battery life because honestly, I’m someone who doesn’t like to charge my phone. But with Redmi Note 7, it only takes a short time to charge it, but it can for more than a day without charging,” he added.
