G-Shock watches are among the most sought-after collectible items among Malaysians. So it’s not even surprising that many fans of the brand are willing to spend a hefty price on these watches to add to their collection.
In a recent viral TikTok post uploaded by a user known as @erinladolly (Erin Aris) over the weekend, the woman shared a video of herself making an appearance on a Facebook Live broadcast of an online seller to ask for him to stop selling G-Shock watches to her husband.
As revealed by Erin on her post, her husband often watches live broadcasts of G-Shock watches on the Facebook page and would end up purchasing them. She commented on the FB Live session, “Please don’t sell your watches to my husband. His name is Zakuan Chor.” Interestingly enough, the seller ended up complying to the woman’s request and even pinned her comment in the replies section!
Not only that, the G-Shock seller even agreed to Erin’s request and revealed that his name had been removed from buying watches on his online shop. The male trader said, “Don’t let this guy (Zakuan Chor) lock the price. Because his wife had come to this chat room and complained (about him).”
The video posted by Erin on her TikTok has in turn caught the attention of netizens, with most of them amused by the response given by the G-Shock seller. Some even praised the seller for siding with the man’s wife. While others hilariously pointed out that the wife was “too fierce”, which prompted the seller to comply to her.
