The Glendronach, known for its rich and timeless whiskies, introduces The Master’s Anthology, a new collection that highlights its mastery of sherry cask ageing.
Curated by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, the trio—Ode to the Valley, Ode to the Embers, and Ode to the Dark—celebrates the distillery’s 200-year heritage through a journey of flavour, craftsmanship, and tradition.
Ode to the Valley

The first expression, Ode to the Valley, captures the bright and floral character of the Valley of Forgue, where The Glendronach Distillery was founded. Matured in a combination of port and sherry casks, it offers notes of summer berries, sweet nectar, and gentle gingerbread warmth. This expression reflects the freshness of the Highland landscape and the spirit of new beginnings that define The Glendronach’s heritage.
Ode to the Embers

As evening settles, Ode to the Embers reveals a smoky and nostalgic character that pays tribute to The Glendronach’s traditional methods. This rare peated expression recalls the days when barley was dried over smouldering peat, creating its distinct aroma and depth. Matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, it offers rich notes of cinnamon toffee, caramelised walnuts, and flamed orange, leaving a warm and lasting impression.
Ode to the Dark

As night approaches, Ode to the Dark stands as the richest expression in the collection, offering a deep and luxurious profile. Matured exclusively in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, it brings together notes of mocha, black cherry, crème brûlée, and espresso for a beautifully layered finish. This indulgent whisky captures the essence of The Glendronach’s mastery, perfect for quiet evenings and moments of reflection.

The Master’s Anthology celebrates whisky as an art for today’s drinkers, especially in Malaysia, where more people are enjoying it slowly. Available now on Drinks Connexion’s Official Shopee Store, it reflects The Glendronach’s heritage and craftsmanship in every bottle.
