It seems like we’ll be seeing miss A’s Suzy in another drama soon!
The singer-cum-actress has been confirmed to star in upcoming SBS drama, “While You Were Asleep (당신이 잠든 사이에)” (working title), alongside Lee Jong Suk.
According to soompi, the drama is about “a woman who can see unfortunate events that will befall others in her dreams, and a prosecutor who does everything he can to prevent the woman’s dreams from coming true”. Needless to say, Suzy and Lee will be taking up the titular roles.
The drama is written by Park Hye Ryun, who also worked on Suzy’s debut drama “Dream High” in 2011. This means that “While You Were Asleep” will mark the 1st time they work together in 6 years’ time. It will also be Lee and Park’s 3rd collaboration, as they were both involved in the production for “I Can Hear Your Voice” and “Pinocchio”.
According to iHQ, the production company, it will be directed by PD Oh Choong Hwan, who helmed highly-acclaimed dramas “Doctors” and “My Love From The Star”. Filming is expected to begin early next year but the airing schedule hasn’t been decided upon yet.
There is no confirmed release date yet, but the drama is set to make its premiere in the first half of 2017.
