We’re only 2 episodes into “Youth With You 3” (青春有你3) and several trainees are already facing alarming accusations. The male contestants in question are Wei Hongyu (魏宏宇) and Leo Liang Sen (梁森).
The pair have not only resonated well with audiences and trended on social media, but some skeletons in the closet have apparently veered its dirty head. The question is – are the rumours even true?
Wei Hongyu (魏宏宇)
Wei Hongyu celebrated his first milestone on the reality show by becoming the first contestant to get an A score during the audition rounds. However, there’s been an ongoing discussion where the 22-year-old had allegedly asked if drugging a girl would make it easier for him to have sex with her.
Some screenshots also claimed that Wei Hongyu had cheated on his girlfriend and left her in depression. The “friend” even said that the singer had a tendency to borrow money from the girlfriend and his friends, but wouldn’t return the cash.
Wei Hongyu’s fan club and rep, BF Entertainment, have since issued statements denying the allegations of his “messy private life”, “cheating scandals”, and “borrowing money” accusations. Some even suspect that the screenshots of the singer’s conversations were photoshopped.

Liang Sen (梁森)
Liang Sen is no stranger to the entertainment industry as he’s been involved in 3 previous drama projects. Not only has his bald head helped him stand out in his versatile performances, but it also makes him look cooler than others.
What’s not cool though is the story of the 23-year-old performer’s bullying past. Rumour has it that he recently bullied a fellow trainee and once hit his female assistant. An old post from July 2018 resurfaced claiming that Liang Yimu (his old name before 2019) had once hit a female assistant for 10 minutes. They also hinted that this man had acted in “Legend of Fu Yao” and was filming “The King’s Avatar” at the time. Liang Sen seem to fit the bill.
The Young Entertainment, which is a subsidiary of iQIYI, has also come forth to deny the allegations made against Liang Sen as false rumours can damage the contestants’ reputation.
