Congratulations are in order for K-Clique member Fareed Saddi and his partner, Siti Hawa Hamdan. The sweet couple officially tied the knot in a traditional ceremony held at the Sabah Convention Centre yesterday (Monday, 10th October).
Fareed’s elder brother, singer Sabhi Saddi, took to his Instagram to share a video of the lovebirds during the traditional akad nikah (solemnisation) ceremony. In the video, Siti Hawa’s little brother, MK, also made an appearance at the event. The local rapper was representing their father, Hamdan Abdul Razak, as the bride’s male guardian (wali).
Interestingly, before the solemnisation ceremony took place, Fareed also came to the wedding dais to propose to Siti Hawa. He asked her, “Will you marry me and open yourself up to receiving guidance from me (on the road) to ‘jannah’ (heaven)?” The bride, who was accompanied by her mom, then responded, “If God wills“.
The groom also gifted a gold bracelet as a wedding dowry to his wife. Following the conclusion of the akad nikah ceremony, the “Pulang” rapper expressed his gratitude towards the guests who were present at the ceremony. “Thank you to everyone who attended. May all of us will be granted a place in the glorious heaven. God willing.”
