Kuala Lumpur’s gastronomic sensation, Burger & Lobster KLCC, recently held an epic celebration to proudly mark its triumphant first year at Suria KLCC – and we were glad to be a part of it!
An exquisite soirée that dazzled and delighted, the event was a fitting cap to a year filled with culinary innovation and unparalleled gourmet adventures.
The celebration was also a heartfelt expression of gratitude to Burger & Lobster KLCC’s cherished partners, unwavering media friends, influential tastemakers, and treasured collaborators, all of whom have played pivotal roles in the brand’s sensational journey thus far.
The festivities were graced by media luminaries and renowned A-listers, including Dato Nicol David, Chryseis Tan, Syamim Farid and many more. The glittering guest list demonstrated that Burger & Lobster KLCC is undoubtedly one of Kuala Lumpur’s ultimate dining destinations.
The event also saw the unveiling of the restaurant’s highly-anticipated new menu, and party guests were given a tasty preview. The dishes included Lobster Thermidor, Lobster Salad, and the velvety Lobster Bisque & Pumpkin Soup; as well as classics like the Lobster Roll and Lobster Laksa, and a long list of other mouth-watering delights. Here are some of the items we tried:
Lobster Roll
The Lobster Roll is one of the restaurant’s signature dishes. This buttery brioche roll is filled with chilled lobster pieces in Japanese mayo. Sounds pretty decadent, but the portion is just right so you wouldn’t find the combo cloying. It’s served with lemon garlic butter and a slice of lemon. To enjoy the roll, squeeze in the lemon garlic butter, then drizzle a generous amount of lemon over the top.
Trust us, this rolls will keep you wanting more. The lobster meat is really succulent and juicy, while the lemon garlic butter and lemon juice added a zing to the overall dish.
Chicken Burger
Apart from the well-known lobster dishes, Lobster & Burger KLCC also serves chicken and beef burgers. We were served sliders that packed flavourful power in every bite. The chicken patty were golden brown and super crispy. We really loved the soft buns topped with a generous amount of white and black sesame.
Deep Fried Risotto
These cute golden fried balls were bursts of flavour. Cheese just oozed out with every bite. It was a perfect balance of crispiness and gooeyness – we loved it.
Ice Creams From Crème De La Crème
Lovestar: Rich chocolate ice cream with creamy chocolate ganache and brownie chunks. The chocolate is so rich and intense, with a bitter-sweet flavour. Yummy!
Captain’s Crush: Raspberry swirl with refreshing Lychee sorbet. If you prefer something sour or super refreshing, this is the flavour to check out.
Atlantic Escape: Cream cheese ice cream with butterfly pea and crumbles. Sweet, crunchy and cheesy, this ice cream was the perfect cap to a magical gastronomic night.

Fancy Interior
The elegant dining room is decorated with handcrafted marble tiles, lobster aquariums, and rich hues of red and blue. The interior is adorned with impressive metallic lobster sculptures created by renowned metal artist, Nizam Abdullah, whose work has been shown both domestically and abroad. Pretty much every space in this restaurant in Insta-worthy!
Prime Ingredients
Wild-caught Atlantic lobsters are shipped daily to the restaurant from Nova Scotia, Canada. Live lobsters swimming in tanks greet guests as they enter the restaurant. Try the fresh lobster whole, in meals like The Original Lobster or within The Original Lobster Roll, which is a buttery brioche roll. Even after just one bite, you can tell the meat is really fresh. The beef used in Burger & Lobster staples like the cheeseburger comes from Nebraska, the United States.

You don’t need to travel far to satisfy your craving for surf and turf now that a second Burger & Lobster location has been established in the centre of KL. Enjoy a lobster roll with a beautiful view of KLCC Park’s symphonic lake by selecting a seat on the terrace.
