#Waze: You Can Now Use Your Own Voice For Navigation Instructions

Fancy hearing your own voice while using Waze?

The navigation app is popular for introducing the voices of celebrities and public figures as their navigators, with Tony Fernandes, Yuna, Morgan Freeman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and more contributing to the app. And now, you can add your own voice to the list of sound packs 😉

Before you get too excited, make sure that your app has been updated to the latest version. Once it’s done, all you have to do is proceed to the app’s “Settings” tab, choose the “Sound & Voice” option, and then proceed to the “Voice Recorder” option.

From here, you’ll be able to customise the voice clips to whatever you desire, be it your own voice or the voice of your loved ones. Better yet, try getting your hands on a friend’s phone and try saying “turn right” when they’re supposed to turn left.

Imagine the amount of mayhem 😉

Oh, for instructions you don’t record your voice for, Waze will choose the default voice note. And the voice packs are not shareable yet, but it could be a possible thing in the future.

If you’re not a Waze user yet, you can download the app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
