“Meteor Garden (流星花園)” actor Wang Dong (王东) is currently in hot water. Sometime in August, the actor was accused of a heinous crime. Apparently, his wife claimed that Wang Dong had abused her and included a video showing the domestic abuse. It destroyed his reputation then and has ruined his image for many.
Unfortunately, it seems it isn’t over yet. Earlier today (3rd November), his wife, Annepple uploaded a post criticising him. This time, she claimed that Wang Dong forced her to delete the video of the domestic abuse. He’d also allegedly asked her to post a video showing them as a family. Needless to say, she wasn’t happy.
“Forgive me for scolding, I really can’t hold (this) back. Where do I need to (go to get away) from this family that destroys people’s principles?” Annepple started. “(You, Wang Dong), came back and begged me to (help you) clean up. I really can’t do it.” She further elaborated, stating that Wang Dong had asked her to delete the video showing him abusing her. Annepple added that he had also asked her to upload a video of their family, specifically of their child’s birthday.
However, Annepple was staunchly against helping him. “If I don’t whitewash (your doings), you will say that I (will) hold it over you for the rest of your life,” she said. “Can’t you get a divorce? Can’t you be a bit more manly?” Annepple made it clear that she does not want anything from him, nor has she depended on him. But for the sake of their children, she was at least hoping he would try.
Wang Dong’s wife claimed he would often tell her he had no money, as he couldn’t find any income. In fact, he apparently borrowed money from his mother and sister and sent it to Annepple for their living expenses. “And you!” she raged. “You would disappear! (I would) see photos of you drinking in a bar at two (in the morning) with friends!”
Annepple added that before marrying him, she had been living freely. However, she had been willing to leave everything to become a housewife. “What did I get (from) my marriage aside from my angelic daughter? Only humiliation, psychological and physical torture, and injuries!” she wrote.
When asked why they weren’t divorced yet, Annepple explained that the lawyer fees had been too expensive for her. She also alleged that Wang Dong had supposedly promised to send his lawyers to her. “I waited for two months, but no one came. Instead, (Dong Wang) came back crying and begging for my forgiveness,” she said. She added that Dong Wang claimed he could only give her 1,500 RMB (~RM977) per month as child support.
The actor has not said anything regarding his wife’s latest claims. However, netizens have expressed unhappiness towards Wang Dong’s alleged actions. Several have also left encouragements in the comments section for Annepple.
