Audi E-TRON Series Launch
We visited the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and witnessed the beginning of a new era as Audi released their latest generation of electric vehicles here in Malaysia. Engineered to have no emissions while still delivering that exhilarating rush only found in high-performance vehicles, the wheels also happen to be drop-dead GORGEOUS. Audi also unveiled their future plans in our country, emphasising the idea of an EV-only Malaysia.
From the powerful RS E-TRON GT to the elegant Q8 E-TRON, their 2023 E-TRON line-up is preparing to be one of the biggest and most stylish yet.

2023 Skate Malaysia Opening Ceremony
If you love figure skating or enjoy watching skaters pour their heart and soul into their craft, well you’re not the only one! We got the chance to witness the opening ceremony of the 2023 Skate Malaysia tournament recently at Sunway Pyramid Ice Rink. Sports and Youth Minister, Hannah Yeoh, was also there to witness the phenomenal performances, including one by seasoned skater Fang Ze Zeng, who will soon defend his championship title against new participants.

This year, Sunway Pyramid Ice is set to host the biggest Skate Malaysia event ever, with an impressive line-up of 450 skaters from seven countries; Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, China, USA, and Kuwait! Midnight Launch Of Final Fantasy XVI
We watched the clock tick down to midnight at the Sunway Pyramid, as we waited for the release of Final Fantasy XVI here in Malaysia. We got hands-on experience with the latest in Square Enix’s killer franchise, trying the tight combat sequence and gripping story, making us even more excited to get a copy for ourselves. However, those lucky few who had preordered the game didn’t have to wait much longer, as they got their very own copy for them to play deep into the night. Those who didn’t get the chance to preorder didn’t leave empty-handed though, as they had the extremely rare opportunity to purchase a copy for themselves on the spot.
Final Fantasy XVI features a dark story filled with death and betrayal, where you play as Clive Rosfield as he searches for answers and justice for himself and his homeland. Taiwan Excellence LiveXperience Pop-Up Store
We were invited to the grand launch of the Taiwanese Excellence LiveXperience Pop-up Store 2023, and it was a an eye-opening ‘xperience’! From innovative digital cameras to educational building blocks, we were among the first few to witness the marvelous display of 14 Taiwanese award-winning lifestyle and consumer brands at one place. During the launch, a fashion show was reimagined as beautiful models walked down the catwalk, showcasing awesome products. Lastly, illustrious Malaysian artist, Red Hong Yi, was invited onto the stage to share her fascinating story and experiences.
Visit the pop-up store from now until 30th June, at Eslite Spectrum Starhill Kuala Lumpur, from 10am to 10pm.

Le Lumiere Launch
We joined Le Lumiere in celebrating its 20th anniversary and its elegant jewellery pieces, which illuminated the entire venue! At the start of the event, we were given a token for an exclusive vending machine, from which we got a limited-edition 20th-anniversary keychain (which is now hanging from our bag).

We were front and centre at Watsons’ new Dermaction PLUS lineup launch, at Elephant Resort Cafe. We got to check out the new Potent Triple Vitamin C lineup that includes three skincare products for a comprehensive skin brightening and anti-ageing solution. Bigo Live Luncheon
Our good friends at Bigo Live hosted a special luncheon with select members of the media on Thursday, 22nd June, at renowned Chef Ismail’s Rebung Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. During the session, we got to learn more about the leading live-streaming platform, aside from getting up-close and personal with three HUGE Bigo Live broadcasters – Loy Ahmad, Lala Panda and Ke Xin.
Gin Rik Sha’s Reopening
After a month-long absence, Gin Rik Sha reemerged on the scene at a new home in Damansara! We got a taste of their signature menu, as well as their signature gin cocktail, handcrafted by mixologist extraordinaire, Shawn Chong, using the flavors of SoulSister Gin. What a night!

Luncheon With JNTO
Japan is all the rage right now. Many tourists have been flocking to the country in recent months, ever since travel restrictions were lifted. A few days ago, we met up with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) KL team, at Moka Italian Japanese Restaurant, for a presentation on their tourism focus and media support programme for 2023. Some of the fun activities included painting one eye on the Daruma doll, a Daifuku (mochi) workshop, and of course, getting to taste some authentic Japanese food. We also had the pleasure of getting acquainted with Executive Director, Fumi Matsumoto, who offered some insightful travel tips over lunch.
