Well, great news for parents in Malaysia, a brand-new swimming pool cinema for kids by Blue Pool Junior has just opened in Melaka, offering a fun and refreshing way for children to enjoy movies like never before!
The Blue Pool Junior concept was created by a local woman, known as Blue Mama, with the hope of encouraging kids to interact and engage in fun physical activities. This innovative cinema allows children to splash around in pools while watching their favourite movies on a giant screen and enjoying snacks, all for just RM8 per session. Additionally, the theatre ensures cleanliness with a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) overseeing daily water treatment after every slot.
Despite the novelty of this never-before-seen concept, Blue Pool Junior has received mixed reactions from Malaysian netizens. Many expressed concerns about the hygiene of the pools, particularly regarding the water not being replaced after every session and the possibility of children urinating in the pool. Some also questioned the practicality of the idea, humorously commenting that kids would end up with wrinkly skin after the session. On the other hand, some netizens were disappointed that this pool cinema experience is only for kids, asking if there will be one for adults soon.
