It’s been a quite some time after Yazmin Aziz shared with the world that she’s been dating Nixon Guylherme. Her celebrity friends seem to have no issue with the “Lihatlah” songstress dating someone who is not a Muslim. But apparently, her fans had shown some concerns about the two dating despite pracitising different religions. The 20-year-old took to TikTok to address their concerns.
The former “Big Stage” contestant posted a video on her TikTok recently after a fan asked her if her boyfriend is a Christian. From her understanding, she clarified that her boyfriend is not a Christian but a Catholic. “It’s true that the two of us have different religious beliefs but bestfriends (referring to her fans), I don’t understand how others are more stressed over this than we are?” she said in her response.
While she did clarify that she and her boyfriend are practising two different religions, some netizens were left even more confused as they didn’t understand the difference between being Christian and being Catholic. Yazmin explained in the comments that her father was the one who taught her that the two are not the same. Some Christian netizens agreed with her to an extend as Christianity can be divided into six main groups.
After publicly announcing their relationship back in June, the two lovebirds are still as lovey-dovey as ever as the couple, especially Yazmin have been posting photos and videos of their time together.
