South Korean girl group TWICE (트와이스) recently completed their two-day concert in Mexico City as part of their Ready To Be World Tour. Besides captivating performances, fans have noted another moment from the night that many will never forget.
TikTok user Rodrigo Ruiz was at the sold-out concert and shared the moment when members Jihyo (지효) and Sana (사나) shared a “kiss” in front of fans. The video showed Jihyo first interacting with fans from the stage before Sana came into the shot, seemingly giving Jihyo a peck on the lips. Right as the “kiss” happened, fans at the concert screamed in gleeful shock over the unexpected fanservice.

According to Rodrigo, the kiss took place during the stop’s second day on 3rd February (Saturday). The moment went viral on social media, but many wondered if the two TWICE members actually kissed each other on the lips. However, fans clarified that the two never touched lips and used angles and “camera magic” to make the kiss seem real.
Fans also praised Jihyo and Sana’s “fanservice skills”, joking that the girls know how to catch people’s attention and create buzz. Others say the scene shows how close the TWICE members are to each other. However, some criticised the idols for the kiss, saying that it’s queerbaiting and that such behaviour is inappropriate for K-Pop idols.
