In addition to the beautiful mall decorations around Malaysia, Christmas cheer is being spread in various ways. Last year, a car enthusiast from Cheras went viral after wrapping his Volkswagen Jetta in Christmas lights.
He certainly succeeded in spreading the Christmas spirit. This year, another car enthusiast is doing the same with his vehicle – and the stunt has even gone viral. Take a look at his festive, holly-jolly ride:
Earlier this week, TikTok user @/jlwx96 posted a video on his channel showing a Toyota Vios adorned with Christmas LED lights driving past him and his friends at Premier Pinesquare in Batu Kawa, Kuching, Sarawak. As the festive vehicle made its way along the road, the man could be heard singing the tune of “Jingle Bells” behind the camera, while his friends giggled in amusement.
The clip quickly went viral, garnering over 406,000 views on TikTok so far and capturing the attention of many online users. Among them was the owner of the Toyota Vios himself, a man known as Carlitos Lee on TikTok. He had modified his vehicle in November to spread joy during the Christmas season.
From the posts on his social media, it appears that the 23-year-old has only recently begun driving his decorated Toyota more frequently at night, after teasing it for a few weeks. Judging by the reactions, it’s evident that netizens and passers-by on the streets thoroughly enjoyed the festive surprise he prepared for everyone.
