After years in the entertainment industry, it’s normal to see some celebrities retire or go on an indefinite hiatus. Some have been doing really well and look just as beautiful as they did years ago while others are almost unrecognisable now when in public.
Speaking of unrecognisable, a certain celebrity has recently made her (possibly) first TikTok appearance after disappearing from the spotlight for quite some time and fans were surprised to see how she looks now.

In case you couldn’t tell who the person in the video is, it’s actress Mislina Mustaffa. She’s mostly known for her controversy of shaving her head to play legendary singer Zaiton Sameon in a biopic. The 51-year-old has been away for a while after the release of her last two movies “Misteri Bisikan Pontianak” and “Dukun” with the former being the last movie she worked on back in 2013 which was 10 years ago.
The actress then appeared in a TikTok video posted by @i_amidan where she was seen reciting poetry for International Women’s Day. The video drew a lot of attention and mixed reactions from both fans and the general public. Most of them were shocked to see how the “Talentime” star looks now with many criticising her for having tattoos on her body.
Others, however, showed appreciation for the actress by reminiscing on her performances in their favourite movies. There were also those who were concerned for the public figure’s well-being and asked her to seek help and repent to God after seeing her in her current state.
As for what Mislina has been up to these days, the Ipoh-born star is currently part of the Juara Turtle Project, an environmental conservation organisation where she can be seen updating the status of the turtles under her care on her Facebook page. Back in 2012, the celeb decided to experience life as a homeless person which later inspired her to write and release her book titled “Homeless By Choice”.
If you’re wondering if Mislina will ever make her return to acting, it is said that the actress will be starring in a movie called “Rahsia” alongside Nabila Huda, Fikry Ibrahim, and Marsha Milan Londoh later this year.
