Fans have expressed concern for GOT7 member BamBam (뱀뱀/แบมแบม) following his revelations about mental health struggles over the past few months. His distressing posts on social media have raised alarms among fans, many of whom have urged his agency to permit him to take a break from his activities to properly rest.
Thankfully, the idol’s member Jackson Wang (王嘉尔/잭슨) sent him a heartfelt message and showed support when he needed it most. Fans were not only grateful to the “100 Ways” singer for checking in on his GOT7 brother, but BamBam’s mother also expressed her appreciation for his kindness. Here’s what she said:
Earlier this week, BamBam’s mother Kochakorn Bhuwakul did a livestream on Instagram where she expressed her gratitude to Jackson Wang for being there for her son. “Thank you Jackson for loving Bambam like a real younger brother. Whenever Bambam has problems, Jackson always comes out and helps him because he understands the situation. He is someone who started working as a solo artist before my son, so everything Jackson has shared came from his own experience. He understands that Bambam is still sensitive about certain things,” she said during the broadcast.
She added that Jackson had offered her son a great deal of advice about the industry and how to take better care of himself, as previously reported. This particular moment from the livestream has since been reposted on Twitter, where fans once again expressed their appreciation for the close relationships among the GOT7 members and their families. Some got emotional after hearing BamBam’s mother’s message to Jackson Wang as she too has been worried about her son.
Earlier this month, a few days after Jackson comforted BamBam, the Thai artist thanked his older member for his unwavering support during his concert saying, “Jackson, if you’re watching this, I wanna say thank you, man. I really love you. I appreciate it”. We’re glad to see BamBam feeling better and that he has amazing people around him.
