Many female singers will normally step down from performing after tying the knot, and it’s rare to see them active while pregnant. However, one Thai star recently gained praise from netizens for her dedication to performing – even right before giving birth.
Mananya Limsatien (มนัญญา ลิ่มเสถียร), known more famously as Belle (เบลล์), is a member of the Thai girl group Girly Berry (เกิร์ลลีเบอร์รี). The quartet debuted in 2002 and are known for their sexy concepts. However, as the members aged, they settled down and married their partners, including Belle, who tied the knot in 2023. Adding to the list of happy news, the singer also announced her first pregnancy earlier this year. Despite this, the group remained active, performing at shows and events.
A while back, the group performed at an event in Thailand – including Belle, who was heavily pregnant. The mother-to-be appeared in all her pregnant glory and wore outfits showing off her belly. Since the girl group is known for their upbeat dance songs, Belle had to change some choreography to accommodate her pregnant state. However, as videos have proved, the singer still gave her all during the performance.
Most shockingly, Belle went into labour shortly after the event. Two days later, she safely gave birth to a healthy baby boy and shared the news online. Since then, she has been active on social media, updating about her life as a new mother. While the performance happened a few months ago, foreign media recently picked up the story, and it gained tons of traction amongst international netizens.
Many have since praised the singer for her hard work and dedication to her career. Many women have also said that Belle is an inspiration, showing how being pregnant shouldn’t hold you back from doing what you love. Of course, no one is more prouder of Belle than the singer herself because she has shared many photos and videos of her performance as a memory of her hard work during the event.
We have to applaud Belle for being the dedicated performer she is because it’s not easy to do what she did. Perhaps, one day, we’ll see Belle perform alongside her son.
