12th December may be the day before Taylor Swift’s birthday, but her fans are the ones getting gifted! The “Love Story” singer has recently announced two new projects for later this year, which follow her highly successful “The Eras Tour”.
On Monday (13th October 2025), Taylor Swift announced via “Good Morning America” that she’s releasing a six-episode docuseries and a concert film on 12th December 2025 (Friday). The docuseries, “The Eras Tour | The End Of An Era”, and the concert film, “The Eras Tour | The Final Show”, will be released on Disney+. Both releases focus on the last show of “The Eras Tour”, which took place last December at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada.

“The Eras Tour | The End Of An Era” is described as “an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world.” A trailer for the docuseries and concert film was released shortly after the announcement, giving the public a glimpse at what’s to come. As shown in the trailer, singers Sabrina Carpenter and Ed Sheeran will make appearances, as well as Taylor’s fiancé, Travis Kelce.
Dropping on the same day as the first two episodes of the docuseries is the “The Eras Tour | The Final Show” concert film. Unlike the previous “The Eras Tour” concert film, which was screened in cinemas globally, the new concert film will feature the tour’s revamped setlist with the “The Tortured Poets Department” segment. The album dropped mid-tour and, as such, wasn’t part of the setlist yet during the first film.

Fans are undeniably excited about the two new projects. In fact, many Swifties have long predicted that a concert film or documentary was on the way, after noticing a significant number of the camera crew present at the final show. The announcement comes after Taylor’s 12th studio album, “The Life Of A Showgirl”, earned a whopping 4 million album-equivalent units in the first week.
For those wondering, Disney+ Malaysia has confirmed that both the docuseries and the concert film will be available locally. While we wait for the release, here’s a look at the official trailer:
