A similar incident involving an unusual food combination recently left netizens speechless.
A video went viral recently on TikTok concerning an unexpected drink order placed by a customer at a Mamak restaurant in Kajang. The restaurant, Sahabat Bistro, known for its affordable dishes, has recently attracted a great deal of attention and mixed reactions from netizens due to its abnormal drink combo.
The video, posted on @/sahabatbistro’s TikTok account, garnered over 465.9 thousand views (at the time of writing) showed a customer bringing in a packet of Malaysian cheese snacks, Super Ring, and handing it to the worker, requesting a Super Ring Milkshake. Most food servers would be confused after receiving such an unusual request but the restaurant staff happily accepted the challenge.
Priced at just RM5.50, the worker added the snacks, milk, ice cubes, and condensed milk to a blender, mixing the ingredients. He then poured the mixture into a glass, topping it with a scoop of ice cream, and crushed Super Rings. The video sparked mixed reactions from local netizens, who voiced their thoughts on the awkward food combination after watching it.
Some Malaysians took to the comment section to express their disgust at the strange drink, while others questioned whether the customer who ordered it was aware of its extreme sweetness and the mix of junk food, making it highly unhealthy. Despite the serious nature of the situation, some users responded humorously, sharing their own unusual drink orders, ranging from Cendol Sambal Udang and Burger Ramly Blended to Ice Blended Sambal Belacan, and the list went on.
