No matter how many times they have done it, artists who are passionate about their craft always feel excited to perform concerts for their fans. The anticipation is even greater when they have not staged one in a long time, whether it is a full concert or a showcase.
Malaysian singer Nourul Depp made her debut in the entertainment industry in 1997 and has since performed at countless events and starred in films over the years. However, she has yet to hold a solo concert of her own. That is about to change, as she has now revealed her plans for 2026. Watch:
Earlier this week, Nourul Depp posted a video on social media announcing her intention to hold a mini concert in 2026. The decision followed her recent surprise appearance at Kilauan Emas 2025, where she was invited as a guest performer alongside one of the contestants. “Because of that performance, I’ve received many questions and requests about holding a concert of my own. My team and I have decided that we will do one in April 2026,” she said.
However, the date is subject to change as she is still in need of a concert organiser to help bring her ideas to life. In the video, she called on event and concert organisers to contact her management if they are interested in investing in the upcoming project. As expected, her fans expressed excitement over the news as they’ve been wanting to see her perform her songs live on stage.
Of course, some were sceptical about the concert’s potential success, questioning whether the artist is still relevant today. One netizen even told the singer not to be cocky, suggesting that few people might turn up as she does not have many hit songs. Nourul responded elegantly (and with humour), writing: “Assalamualaikum, my dear, sweet, beautiful Ma’am. Thanks for the concern, but you don’t even follow me, which means you’re not a fan. That’s fine, because this show is for those who are my fans and know my songs. Plus, fear should not hold us back.”
