That’s right, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love is definitely in the air as we’ve had some celebrity couples announcing some exciting news to the world. Earlier this week, trans model and actress Poyd Treechada shared that she’s getting married soon.
Prior to that, SM Faliq Nasimuddin and wife Chryseis Tan welcomed their first child. Looks like fans have more reasons to celebrate as another rumoured celebrity couple just confirmed their relationship during a TikTok live broadcast.

After months of rumours and speculations, content creator Ubai Mz and singer Shila Amzah finally went public about their relationship. During a recent TikTok live broadcast on the influencer’s channel, the couple shared the wonderful news with fans as well as the details of how they got together.
The 25-year-old revealed that he’s always been a fan of the singer since he was 13 years old. “Sha truly understands me. I’ve been her fan since I was in school and it’s crazy to think that I went from calling her Kak Sha to just Sha. And now we’re together,” he said. It was understood that the TikToker got close to the 32-year-old during a difficult phase in her life after she divorced her ex-husband, Haris Idraki Elias.
The “Seikhlas Hati” songstress, who was out of frame during the Live, shared her side of their love story as well. According to the vocalist, she’s been close with the public figure for a long while before one day realising that she has developed feelings for him. “Our story began with a scooter and that’s all we’re gonna say for now. Please pray for us,” she happily said.
After announcing that they were dating, the celebrity couple also took time to address some fans’ concerns about their relationship. Shila reassured everyone that her family supports their relationship. In regards to their 8-year age gap, the singer revealed that older men aren’t necessarily more mature or better suitors.
“Age is not an issue for me. My ex was also younger than me and I did try to date an older person once but it didn’t work out,” she shared. Before ending the Live, Ubai said that they’ll be sharing more of their stories in the future, possibly in an episode of his podcast. May their relationship last and may both continue to be happy together.
