She said yes! Treechada Poyd Bejarat, better known as Poyd Treechada (ตรีชฎา เพชรรัตน์) recently took to her social media to share the happy news of her engagement to long time beau Phakwa Hongyok (บรรลุ หงษ์หยก) aka Oak.
According to reports, the newly-engaged couple went public with their romance last year and wedding plans are already underway as we speak. If all goes well, the 36-year-old Thai model-actress will be walking down the aisle this coming March.
It is understood that Poyd and Oak have known each other for over 20 years. Oak and Poyd’s elder brother grew up as besties and he was introduced to Poyd even before she officially transitioned at the age of 17. Needlessly to say, the pair went from senior and junior, to lovers, and soon-to-be husband and wife.

For the uninitiated, Poyd was once named “Thailand’s Most Beautiful Transgender”. She previously won two beauty pageants – Miss Tiffany’s 2004 and Miss International Queen 2004. The Thai beauty has even acted in several Hong Kong films, including 2013’s “The White Storm” (where she shared a kiss with Hong Kong singer-actor Nick Cheung) and also 2015’s “From Vegas to Macau II”.
Meanwhile, Oak is a wealthy Thai businessman and his family owns a hotel business. He apparently owns Baan Ar Jor. It’s a heritage hotel and museum located in Phuket that has its own Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. The lovey-dovey pair are also often featured on the business’ Instagram account.
Congrats to the couple, there’s no doubt this anticipated wedding is going to be a lavish affair!
