It was quite an eventful weekend for RIIZE (라이즈) and their fans. The group pulled out several surprises during their “RIIZING LOUD” concert at the Idea Live Arena on 16th August (Saturday), including dance covers of 3P’s festive track “Syawal Berseri” and DOLLA’s “MWA”.
In addition to those, the members shared snippets of their time in Kuala Lumpur on TikTok. Fans had been eagerly waiting for the posts, and, much to their delight, they finally got what they wished for.
Yesterday (Tuesday, 19th August), RIIZE shared a video on their social media featuring Eunseok (은석) and Sohee (소희) cheerfully posing in their “I LOVE KL” souvenir T-shirts. Judging by the background, the clip appeared to have been filmed backstage at their concert at the Idea Live Arena.
As expected, Malaysian fans were delighted to see the members showing their affection for the country and their supporters. Many commented on how adorable the duo looked in their shirts, while others expressed pride in being Malaysian. Some even urged RIIZE to show their souvenirs to their sunbaenims, EXO and SEVENTEEN, in the hope that they too might come to KL for a future concert.
Aside from the T-shirts, RIIZE also shared photos taken at the Petronas Twin Towers. Not only did they pose in front of the iconic skyscrapers, but they also had the chance to tour one of the towers from the inside. Once again, Malaysian fans showed the same reactions to the new photos as they did to the aforementioned video.
From the original teaser, it seems there is still more content yet to be shared, so fans are eagerly awaiting what RIIZE might release next, perhaps even a travel vlog of their recent visit. Either way, it’s clear the group had a wonderful time in Kuala Lumpur, and many are already hoping to see them return in the near future.
