K-pop boy band RIIZE (라이즈) have certainly been keeping busy during their recent trip to Malaysia. In addition to giving fans an unforgettable concert, the group have been sharing snippets of what they have been up to in Kuala Lumpur. Some of the members showed off their “I LOVE KL” T-shirts, while others sampled a popular snack among locals.
The group also posted photos of themselves visiting the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, and fans have been hoping they’d share more about their experience. It looks like they got their wish as the idols finally uploaded their KL vlog on their official YouTube channel. Watch:

Yesterday (Wednesday, 27th August), RIIZE uploaded what appears to be the first episode of their Kuala Lumpur vlog on YouTube. In the video, the members were split into pairs and travelled in separate vehicles to the Petronas Twin Towers, following rehearsals the night before their concert. According to the group, they’d be assigned to complete a challenge upon arriving at the iconic skyscrapers.
The members were in awe as soon as they saw the towers up close. On their way inside, a few fans shyly greeted Shotaro (쇼타로) and Wonbin (원빈) while respectfully keeping their distance. Once inside, RIIZE made their way up to the skybridge on the 42nd floor, walking from one end of the tower to the other. Like any excited tourists, the members wasted no time capturing photos and videos of their visit to the building, which, as it turned out, was part of their challenge. The pair who produced the most creative shots would win a prize.

After exploring the Twin Towers and capturing their content, RIIZE regrouped to cast their votes. Eunseok (은석) and Sohee (소희) were announced as the winners, with the prize revealed to be the “I LOVE KL” T-shirts they had recently shared on Instagram. In the comments section, Malaysian fans were thrilled to see the idols enjoying their time at the towers and expressed their gratitude for visiting the popular landmark.
We wonder if they had time to explore other parts of KL. If this really is the first episode of their Malaysian travel series, then we hope to see more content from the group in the near future.
