There’s nothing a Potterhead wants more than to experience the magical world of Hogwarts. Many Malaysian fans have saved up for a trip to Universal Studios to see and enjoy all the “Harry Potter” attractions but sadly the magic will end as soon as it’s time to go home.
But what if we tell you that the magic doesn’t have to end? In case you didn’t know, there’s actually a “Harry Potter”-themed Airbnb right in our backyard, and an influencer was there to give everyone a tour. Watch:

Yesterday (Thursday, 6th July), British content creator Mark O’dea posted a video on his TikTok channel where he gave a tour around the “Harry Potter”-themed Airbnb in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In the video, the YouTuber entered the premise in full Gryffindor uniform looking very amazed by the detailed decorations of familiar items and locations from the iconic book and movie franchise.
According to the official Airbnb website, the famous location includes:
- Platform 9 3/4
- The Great Hall of Hogwarts
- Dursley’s Living Room
- Ollivander Wand Shop
- Honeydukes Themed Bedroom
- Cozy Gryffindor Dorm
- Mandrakes’ Mini Greenhouse
- Potions Corner
“This needs to be your next staycation. This place will make you feel like you’re in Hogwarts,” the influencer wrote in the video captions. The Malaysia-based internet celeb then brought his audience to check out the Gryffindor dorm which can fit about 3 people in one bedroom. To make it even more exciting, you can even “meet” the Sorting Hat. Perhaps then you’ll finally know which Hogwarts house you belong to.
Fans of the franchise, obviously, got excited after watching the content creator’s video. Many were mesmerised by the effort the owners had put into replicating iconic and beloved scenes and locations from the movies.
