Last night (15th November), Coldplay hit the stage at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium to perform their sold-out Jakarta show as part of the critically acclaimed Music Of The Spheres Tour. However, according to Indonesian netizens, the concert was laden with issues including ticket scalpers and the concert venue getting trespassed.
One story came from a ticket holder, Fadhila, who left the concert after she couldn’t enter the venue because of a faulty ticket. According to her, Fadhila was told at the entrance that her ticket, with her name, was invalid because someone had already entered the venue with the same ticket. She also said the ticket had already been scanned thrice before her, meaning two other people had the same ticket code.

Twitter user @/marwahaulia also faced a similar situation, revealing that her ticket was already scanned at 3pm when the concert venue was still closed. The fan also shared a video taken at the help desk at the concert, showing many others who were demanding answers from the concert staff regarding the ticketing issue. Ticket holder Annisa said that she could only watch the last 20 minutes of the concert because the guards at the front gate would not accept her e-ticket and would not give her a wristband because it ran out.
Some fans were also stuck outside because they were cheated by ticket scalpers. As shared by the Twitter account TOKO PARMO, thousands of people fell victim to a scam by one person who sold them fake tickets. According to an Indonesian news outlet, Indonesian actress Susan Samoh was also a victim of ticket scalpers but managed to enter the concert venue after receiving a ticket from a friend.

Another major issue at the concert was people trespassing into the stadium. One video from Twitter revealed that many people without tickets had stormed into the concert venue and even broke down barricades. According to one concert-goer, many of these trespassers were shamelessly sitting on the staircases, blocking the view of the others in the stadium.
After the concert, many people took to social media to slam the concert organiser, PK Entertainment, for their terrible management. Many have also listed other issues during the night, including no crowd control and lack of amenities. Some said the issues stemmed from the lack of communication between the organisers and the on-site staff. These issues led many people, like Twitter user Ali, to refer to lawyers regarding the issues at the concert. He also urged others to file a class-action lawsuit to receive compensation from the organiser.
