Many would expect a director to be stern and stoic while instructing cast and crew members. However, local star Eric Fuzi recently shared what he actually does while directing for a music video.
Local music group Floor88 recently updated their TikTok with a video showing what Eric is like in the director’s chair. The actor is a member of the musical collective but also directs many of their music videos. The video seemed to be a typical behind-the-scenes look at a filming set. However, the most eye-catching part of the video was the plate of rice that Eric was eating during filming.
It appeared the media personality was helping himself to some food in the middle of work. At one point, the 32-year-old was instructing crew members on the correct camera positions, while his right hand was on the plate, casually preparing a bite of rice. Right after he yelled “action”, Eric nonchalantly fed himself a handful of rice while the camera rolled. Floor88 captioned the video, “This director is powerful”, applauding Eric’s multitasking skills.
Many netizens have also reacted to the video, tickled by how the star was calmly munching away while directing. On the other hand, many joked that Eric is probably relaxed because he had food on hand while working. Some even equated the actor’s multitasking skill to one of his scenes from “Melur vs Rajawali”, where he was on a non-stop rant while walking.
Of course, some people work better when they have a full stomach, so perhaps Eric is a better director when he has a plate of food while working. Judging from the views of some of Floor88’s music videos, we think it’s better to continue letting the director do as he pleases.
