TikTok user @/tuktiklife has been garnering tons of attention after sharing several videos of a man who bears a striking resemblance to Keanu Reeves – particularly his John Wick character – with his long black hair, tall stature and bearded face.
Adding to the amusement of netizens is that the videos show the man engaging in random activities uncharacteristic of the charismatic hitman. For example, one video shows him washing dishes by the roadside, and another shows him making drinks at a market stall.
These videos have received millions of total views and thousands of comments from netizens. Many were unsurprisingly amused at seeing “Keanu” casually working on the streets of Thailand. Meanwhile, others can’t help but crack jokes about the scenes, likening it to “John Wick” taking up side quests amidst his missions. Of course, some people are curious about the man’s identity, even wondering if he’s a stunt double for the star.
According to new reports, the Keanu Reeves look-alike is a German man named Andreas. The idea to cosplay as the actor came from his wife, Tuk, who thought Andreas looked like Keanu’s John Wick character, so she dyed his blonde hair and beard black. The man revealed that he received tons of attention for being Keanu’s double, even receiving invites to events as the 60-year-old star.
