When it comes to remodelling, car enthusiasts truly take the cake, pouring in extra effort—and often a lot of money—into transforming their vehicles. These modifications usually involve changing certain parts or completely overhauling the car’s appearance.

We’ve seen a Japanese man proudly transform his Daihatsu Mira into a Malaysian icon, the Perodua Kelisa. Now, a Malaysian car enthusiast has gone viral for introducing the first-ever modified version of the Perodua Myvi, attempting to mimic the look of a Lamborghini Aventador. Here’s a peek at the car’s brand-new look:

In the now-viral TikTok video posted by @/royseelsreviews, captioned “Myvighini Santantador” (a clever blend of the Myvi and Aventador names), viewers are given a close-up look at the impressive transformation of a silver Perodua Myvi. The exterior design is almost unrecognisable from the original, with flush door handles replacing the traditional ones on the front doors, and the passenger doors completely handleless.

Nearly every part of the car was modified to mimic the Aventador’s iconic design, including the front end, side fenders, rear end, and even a widebody addition. The alterations are believed to have been done by the renowned car workshop Subi Design, as some of their signature elements are visible. Adding to the impressiveness is the car’s number plate, which appears to be a pricey and personalised selection.

Many netizens praised the transformation, calling it brilliant and noting that the end result gave the affordable Myvi a more luxurious appearance. Other car enthusiasts quickly recognised the altered design and accurately guessed it was the work of Subi Design. However, not everyone was impressed—some criticised the decision, pointing out that it goes against JPJ regulations to modify a car to resemble another brand, while others simply thought the attempt was unattractive. What do you think of the transformation?
