Last month, the citizens of Malaysia were amazed after seeing the Queen, Her Majesty, Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah performing a duet with local indie artist Kimal of Margasatwa. Many were surprised that someone of her royal status would put on a show for the people.

It looks like Malaysians are in for another treat as both Her Majesty and His Majesty, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah wowed the people of Sabah with their singing and dancing skills during their trip to the state. Watch:

As many already know, the King and Queen of Malaysia are currently in Sabah for an expedition to get to know the people and the development of the state better and while they were hard at work, they also didn’t forget to have fun with the people there.

A video, originally posted on TikTok, was shared on Twitter, showing our Queen simply enjoying herself with the people of Sabah. The viral video showed Her Majesty dancing her heart away with dancers in traditional attire circling around her during an event at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

The post received many positive reactions from netizens where most said that seeing the Queen being comfortable and having fun with the common folk made them happy. Some even praised her for her humbleness and knowing the dance to the song. One even requested for someone to do a compilation video of the royal couple’s visit to the state.

The Queen wasn’t the only one who got the spotlight during their trip as The King himself also showed off his vocal skills at another recent event in Sabah. In a video posted on TikTok by the Minister of Industrial Development & Entrepreneurship, Dato’ Phoong Jin Zhe, His Majesty can be seen singing on stage with his wife by his side while being surrounded by the performers.

Many commented on the TikTok post saying they enjoyed seeing the royal couple being so laidback, humble and having a pleasant time with the people while also carrying out their duties. It’s not every day we get to see Agong and the Queen let loose and enjoy themselves and since they’ll be departing to Sarawak soon, we hope to see them having just as much fun as they did in Sabah.
