Even Malaysia’s No.1 singer Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza has her days. During a recent livestream, the songstress, affectionately known as TokTi, shared a humorous onstage moment with her audience.
A netizen on TikTok reposted the part of the livestream when the singer recounted her funny onstage moments. During the session, she reminisced about an incident involving a wig she wore during a performance.
The 45-year-old singer was reading questions from netizens when one particular question made her laugh. A netizen asked if her “hijab pin had ever come off during a performance.” She responded by sharing a story about a time she wore a wig for a show during the early days of her career. Despite securing it tightly, the wig became loose while she was singing on stage.
The businesswoman added, “When I held my head up, my wig immediately fell off.” Nonetheless, she continued her performance, treating the incident as “part of her showmanship.” In the comments section, netizens were amused by the story, reminiscing about the times when the mother-of-two wore various wigs for her performances. Some even asked, “TokTi, please tell us which show it was from. We want to search and watch it.”
Sadly, the incomparable entertainer never mentioned exactly which live performance the funny incident happened so those who got to witness it back in the day were definitely one of the lucky ones. Watching our favourite artists share their funny and memorable moments is always a joy for fans.
