It really doesn’t matter what the entrepreneur does cause it will definitely get people talking. When she post’s something on her socials, netizens will get riled up and leave comments on those posts. Recently, the 50-year-old got people talking when she showed off her latest expensive purchase.
Cosmetic millionaire Dato Seri Vida posted a video on her Instagram yesterday (Sunday, 17th July), sharing with her followers that she bought a special item to show off to them as well as to her friend, TV and film director Michael Ang. In the video, she can be seen exiting the lift with a big shopping bag in her hand.
“It’s time to show off,” she said in the video as well as in the caption. Michael didn’t seem too happy about her new purchase after she claimed that it was a one-of-a-kind item that can’t be found anywhere else in Malaysia. The item in question was a Tumbler which she claimed to be worth RM7K.
The director then bet he could find a similar looking tumbler online for RM10. While he was at it, the “I Am Me” singer took the chance to promote her Pamoga products. Michael advised her viewers to only buy Pamoga and not waste money on a RM7k tumbler. “Only crazy rich people would buy something like this!” he said. Although entertained, netizens agreed that her purchase was extremely wasteful.
In other news, Dato Vida recently shared that her daughter’s boba business isn’t doing so well because she believed it has been cursed with black magic. According to the celebrity businesswoman, she hired a shaman and found out that someone had planted a banana tree next to her daughter’s shop.
“I came here at 3am to chop down this banana tree! This is the problem with Malay people, they’re always jealous and would be willing to do something like this,” said the mother-of-four. She hopes that her daughter’s Boba Lova shop will rise again now that the paranormal situation has been dealt with.
