The first “F Forever” concert concluded its four-day run yesterday (Monday, 22nd December 2025), bringing thousands of F4 fans together after so many years. While the reunion wasn’t perfect, MAYDAY (五月天) frontman Ashin’s (阿信) speech during the evening sparked a wave of emotions.
B’in Music previously announced that the singer would participate in the reunion concert in Shanghai, performing alongside Jerry Yan (言承旭), Vic Chou (周渝民) and Vanness Wu (吳建豪) (F3). Ashin performed at all four shows and also collaborated with the three F4 in two new songs, one of which featured singer Jay Chou (周杰倫). During the last show, Ashin gave a speech to the crowd at the end of the night.

Starting his speech, the vocalist thanked Jerry, Vic, Vanness, Ken Chu (朱孝天) and “Meteor Garden” producer Angie Chai (柴智屏). When thanking Ken, he mentioned the singer was unable to join the reunion for the time being, prompting praise from the audience for his choice of words. Ashin continued his speech, saying, “I know this isn’t the scene everyone was looking forward to the most. I will keep working hard to present the most complete view for you all.”
He then mentioned exhausting his energy and time after performing 22 concerts in the past month, but said he felt honoured and happy. He then clarified his decision to join the reunion tour, saying he accepted the invitation from F3 because he couldn’t bear to see the three members shoulder the pressure on their own. He also explained that he wanted to ensure a successful show for the fans who waited 20 years for the reunion.

Ashin continued, “2025 might not be your best year, but the year they appeared in your life must be the most dreamy year of your childhood and adolescence.” He then ended the speech with a touching tribute to the fans. Netizens have since reacted to the speech, expressing gratitude to Ashin. Some also noted the singer’s dedication, mentioning his fall from the last show, which resulted in a hand injury.
It’s worth mentioning that F4 first reunited at MAYDAY’s concert in July, which then prompted discussions for the reunion tour. Despite not having a complete F4 reunion, many acknowledged Ashin’s work in making it possible. Here’s his full speech:
