When something is too good to be true, it probably is. Even if it isn’t a full-blown scam, you may never know who is on the other end of that screen and the more mysterious they are, the more suspicious things can escalate. Some people will have sneaky ways of convincing others to join them in their business and you might end up losing more than you gain.

Have you ever heard of Forex? Or perhaps the trading business in general? Some people find this business very suspicious and they’re not buying the luxurious life that you can achieve from doing this job. If you ever wonder what goes behind closed doors, this man recently dropped all the details on the dark side of Forex.

A user who goes by @tomqurus on TikTok posted a video of a man claiming that certain influencers are not who you may think they are. Without dropping names, the individual claimed that these ‘trader’ influencers did not achieve their wealth on their own. Apparently, their luxurious life and so-called wealth were all sponsored by someone who he calls “The Founder”.

The expensive house, the rare sports cars, and the relaxed flexible working hours are all just a set to invite more people in joining the trading business. In the video, the unnamed man explained that the more people or fans who registered to Forex under these influencers’ names, the more profit is made to generate income.

Towards the end of the video, he warned the public to not fall prey to Forex’s scheme and to not be too drawn to these influencers’ glamorous lifestyles. Everything is not always what it seems. After @tomqurus posted the video, an influencer responded to these allegations by claiming they are not true.

Aisar Khaled, known for his many controversies, rebutted the man’s statement earlier. According to the 22-year-old, the group behind “The Founder” and “Broker” in Forex is almost the same as the agent and product founder. He further argued that the wealth he has now is all due to his hard work and not through any “sponsorship”. Netizens’ opinions are also torn in the comments section of both videos.

Some claimed that they were once in the trading business but refuse to participate in the business any longer. Others believe that the “founders” and “brokers” have been here for years and not all of them have ill intentions.

For your information, the law of joining the Trading business is considered Haram in Malaysia by Mufti of the Federal Territory and also the Mufti of Perlis. However, according to Forex Malaysia’s official website, the business is legal but “brokers” may operate illegally if they are not licenced and registered by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SCM).
