TikTok user @treeyoman or Fazrul Nizam, who works as a professional tree climber, posted a video on his profile showing how he conducted a “Search & Rescue” operation to retrieve someone’s missing iPhone 13 Mini that fell into a gorge at Resorts World Genting. It was said that the phone had been missing for a month. Talk about determination!
Determined to find the missing iPhone, Fazrul got in contact with the owner to track down the last location where the phone fell as seen in the video. From the video and photos posted by @bvrtrvb (phone owner), one would assume that the iPhone was a lost cause as it seemed impossible to find anything in the gorge area. But after preparing all the necessary equipment, the TikToker took a leap of faith and went down to retrieve the phone.
Miraculously, the professional tree climber managed to find the iPhone 13 Mini in the sea of trees and bushes, which was apparently 3 metres away from the last known location. You’d think that the iPhone would not be operational after going missing for a month and that the “Search & Rescue” mission was a waste of time but the phone remained unscathed and is working well after charging it.
Netizens on Twitter were astonished that the phone could still work after a month of living in a gorge. Many on TikTok applauded Fazrul for his courage and determination to retrieve the iPhone and return it to its rightful owner. We love a happy ending!
