Recently, a TikTok video of a man standing up to a group of car enthusiasts went viral. The video was believed to have been taken at Uniqlo DA Square in Damansara, a spot famous for car meetups due to its large parking space. However, since the area is also close to a few residential neighbourhoods, the loud pops and bangs the cars create have caused discomfort to those living there.

In the video, the man was berating the group for their late-night activities, pointing out that there are houses in the area and the group was making too much noise with their cars. As the man continued his rant, he waved around, what he claimed to be, a police report regarding the gathering. When the group remained silent, the man quickly commented how their lack of response contrasted with how loud they were with their vehicles.
After the video was posted, the man was praised by netizens, with many calling his actions justified and how he was brave for standing up against the group on his own. Many who sided with the man also urged car enthusiasts to be more considerate in the future. One commenter even said, “It’s not (that) u can’t showcase ur car.. (but) find the right time and place..”.
According to those living near the area, the meetups happen quite often but, as of reporting, there haven’t been any updates on the group’s activities. While it’s nice to engage in hobbies, let’s try to be considerate of those around us when we partake in them.
