There have been multiple cases where women were being followed or secretly filmed by perverted men in restrooms and one of the offenders even went as far as disguising himself as a woman before he got caught.

While these recent victims have been women, it doesn’t necessarily mean that men are exempted from being stalked or spied on. This man was definitely surprised when he saw that someone was peeping underneath the toilet cubicle he was in. Watch:

Over the weekend, a netizen who goes by @auzwhynot posted a video on his TikTok channel to show that someone was trying to take a peek as he was just about to do his business in the toilet a Lotus’s Malaysia outlet. He noticed a pair of hands and a head trying to get a better look at him, and much to his surprise, the one peeping was actually a child. “Thank goodness I didn’t take my pants all the way off ’cause I noticed someone was peeping,” he wrote.

At first, the man assumed that the child was probably looking for their father or relative but his theory was dismissed since the child continued to peep. In the captions of a follow-up post, the netizen explained that although he was shocked, he wasn’t necessarily angry at the child. He got out of the restroom and saw that the child was back with his family members outside. He decided not to confront them about the incident to save them from embarrassment.

“The whole point of making these posts is to remind parents to look after their children and not let them wander around in the public restrooms alone. It may not seem dangerous to the kids but it could cause trouble for everyone else,” he wrote. Netizens reacted to his video, sharing what they would’ve done if they noticed that a kid was “spying” on them.

Of course, there were those who believed that the man should’ve informed the family of what happened to avoid any unnecessary confrontations in the future. The TikTok post never mentioned which Lotus’s Malaysia outlet it was but regardless, we hope that the man will not have any more strange encounters when he’s doing his business.

What would you have done if you noticed a child peeping?
