In her acceptance speech, Fish expressed her gratitude to the film’s team and the voters. She also dedicated the honour to her parents, thanking them for their love and support.
This award marks Fish’s third accolade for her role in “Someone Like Me”. She previously won the Best Actress award at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Award and the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild Award. She also received a nomination at the Hong Kong Screenwriters’ Guild Award for Best Film Character Of The Year.
