Many celebrities have been exposed or accused of offences over the years and while some managed to counter those allegations, others unfortunately had no choice but to work their way to earn everyone’s trust again. Although this young reality star was not named, many appeared to have narrowed it down to which TV program he was a part of after this woman claimed to have received unsolicited photos of his privates.
Yesterday (Monday, 1st April), a content creator who goes by Yusrina posted a video on TikTok to share a story submitted by one of her followers as part of her “Stories from my DMs” series. In the video, she addressed the submitter as Safi (not her real name) who claimed to have been texting someone who was a contestant in an unspecified reality programme.
The story started with Safi downloading a yellow-coloured dating app (assumed to be Bumble) and matched with someone who was said to be an up-and-coming artist at the time. Throughout their conversation, the unnamed contestant would constantly brag about being part of a popular TV show and how he was worried for Safi as she might get online harassment from jealous fans if they were to find out that the two had been in contact.
The anonymous then-rising star suggested that they move to chat on Telegram, claiming that he was worried that there would be a scandal if he was caught on the dating app. Everything seemed to be going well until the day he sent her a disappearing photo of his penis without prior warning. “He asked her to review it; the size, diameter, shape and whatnot. Safi of course got angry and confronted him but he gave such an insincere apology and brushed it off,” said Yusrina in the video.
The story submitter then blocked the TV show contestant but unfortunately, a couple of months later, he got in touch with her using another number. He first apologised to Safi for being too busy and then confessed that he had slept with a crew member on set saying, “I can’t wait to do the same with you,” after sending her photos of his affair. Filled with rage, Safi then threatened to leak screenshots of their conversations if he were to bother her again. Fortunately, that seemed to do the job as she hasn’t heard from him since.
After posting the video, netizens began speculating on who this celebrity might be. Many suspected that it might be a “Hero Remaja” contestant. A few former contestants’ names have popped up in the comments but so far there’s no way of confirming that it could possibly be them.
Some even claimed to have had the same experiences with these contestants with one claiming that the celeb they chatted with is now married. Watch the full video below and see if anyone comes to mind:
