A man named Aimi Nasruddin recently went viral after regaining consciousness upon hearing a voice note from the iconic singer. How did he fall into a coma, and how did Siti come to learn of his condition? Here’s the full story:
In an interview with mStar, Aimi Nasruddin shared that he had suffered a heart attack while on holiday in Australia with friends earlier this month. He collapsed suddenly at a beach and was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital by ambulance. Although he received immediate medical attention, he tragically slipped into a coma for 5 days. His loved ones did everything they could to get a response, but nothing seemed to work.
On the 5th day, Aimi’s father reached out to his son’s friends, who may be an associate of Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza’s team, knowing how much Aimi is a fan and that he attended the singer’s concert prior to this trip to Australia. The father’s efforts were not in vain, as he received a voice note from the legend herself. “My dad told me that he got the voice note from Siti just one hour after reaching out to one of my friends,” Aimi wrote in his IG story, recalling the day he woke up.
In the viral video he posted, Siti’s voice can be heard offering words of comfort and prayers for her fan to wake up soon. Remarkably, while the voice note was playing, Aimi showed a physical response; his arm moved slightly upon hearing her voice. It was understood that he regained consciousness not long after. In another interview with ERA FM, Aimi shared that he has no recollection of the incident when he collapsed and only learned the whole story from his friends who were with him.
It has now been over 20 days since Aimi fell into a coma, and he has since made a full recovery and is gradually returning to normal life. We’re glad to hear that his health is improving, and there’s no doubt his loved ones are deeply grateful that Siti Nurhaliza played a role in his remarkable recovery.
