This entrepreneur did something just as extravagant for her husband. Earlier this week, Nia Syaqiera, founder of the makeup brand Rohina, posted a series of videos on her TikTok channel showing her surprising her husband, Rahim Asri, with a massive cash bouquet worth RM31,000 for his 31st birthday. In one of her TikTok posts, Nia explained that she wanted to express her gratitude to her husband, as he has sacrificed so much for their business and family. As for why she chose to gift him a RM31,000 cash bouquet, she revealed that it was because he’s very particular about spending money. Rather than trying to figure out the perfect gift, the businesswoman decided that cash was the best option. The amount of money on the bouquet also symbolises his current age.
“He can use that money to buy his own birthday present if he wants to. Happy birthday, my love. I love you so much,” she said in one of her TikTok videos. In an interview with Harian Metro yesterday (Thursday, 23rd January), the entrepreneur revealed that she had secretly planned the surprise last year, after celebrating her husband’s 30th birthday. She began saving up at that point and made all the necessary preparations a week before Rahim’s 31st birthday last weekend. Thankfully for Nia, he hadn’t suspected anything and was moved to tears when she handed him his gift.
“For me, the cash gift is indeed substantial, but the value is nothing compared to my husband’s much greater sacrifices for our family. He takes care of my mother and my OKU brother who lives with us. It’s hard to find a man like my husband,” she told the news outlet.
