Content creator and entrepreneur Khairul Aming’s first restaurant venture, Rembayung, had an overwhelming response after securing 3,000 customer bookings during its first reservation slot on its opening night. Despite his team being fully prepared beforehand, the surge in demand caused the restaurant’s website to crash.
In a recent Threads post, he mentioned that he and his team has completed the first round of bookings for Rembayung. He apologised about the website crashing, saying that there were a lot of angry comments.

“We made preparations, but unfortunately, the traffic was too high. About 3,000 customers managed to secure bookings starting the day after tomorrow and over the next few days,” he explained.
Khairul also apologised to customers frustrated by the technical issues, admitting that the booking process took a toll on him and his team. He shared that he didn’t know how to respond and was speechless, as he had no sleep and only managed to get two hours of sleep earlier.

“To those who are angry at me and my team, I sincerely apologise once again. Please give us time to address all the issues and try to provide a smoother booking process for the next round.” By the end of the video, he hoped to offer a satisfying dining experience to all customers who had successfully secured their bookings and thanked them for supporting his restaurant.
