Concerts and music festivals can get pretty crazy. But, most of the time, it’s the good kind of crazy, as both fans and artistes are excited to see each other. Fans would scream at the top of their lungs and sing along to their favourite songs by their idols. The performers will also sometimes give the fans what they want by inviting a few onstage.

But when it comes to attending concerts, regardless of whether you’re a member of the audience or the performer, your safety should be one of the top priorities. There is nothing wrong with having fun, but try not to get so overexcited until you ignore your own safety and the safety of others. It’s also best to not throw items onto the stage to get the artists’ attention, as someone might get seriously injured, just like at keshi’s recent show.

Not this happening on the last HELL/HEAVEN show in Honolulu … Ridiculous 🤬 #keshideservesbetter pic.twitter.com/PWarYyHDXM

— keshi updates (@keshiupdates) December 19, 2022

keshi was performing at his last “HEAVEN/HELL” show of the year in Honululu, Hawaii yesterday (Monday, 19th December). A fan must’ve gotten overly excited that they decided to throw something onto the stage, accidentally hitting the 28-year-old in the eye while he was performing.

In the first video above, you can see that the object thrown must’ve been heavy enough to hurt the “GET IT” singer, causing him to lose balance and bleed as he was performing. The American artist, justifiably upset, called out the audience member for throwing the object on stage before leaving, as seen in the second video slide. According to netizens in the replies, audience members can be heard begging keshi to stay after the painful incident.

Concert Review: keshi's REQUIEM KL Concert Was A "Dream" To Remember

The hashtag #keshideservesbetter trended on Twitter last night, with many of his fans expressing their disappointment and dissatisfaction with the person who threw the unknown object onto the stage. According to a concertgoer, the object thrown was a bracelet and the fan, who was revealed to be a student, was then immediately escorted out of the venue by security after the incident.

Moments after the show ended, the “2 Soon” artist posted a photo of his injury on Twitter with the caption: “DO NOT FUCKING THROW SHIT ON STAGE PLEASE THANK YOU ❤️👌”. After being informed of the situation and not wanting to drag out the issue, the singer urged his fans to not attack the person who threw the object. “If you found bro, leave him alone – We’ve all made stupid mistakes here and there,” keshi wrote.

keshi ended the post by saying that he forgave the fan and jokingly advised them to try out playing sports, as they had good aim. We’re glad he didn’t suffer any serious injuries, but let this be a reminder to all of us to practice basic concert etiquette.
