It’s only the second week of 2024 and there’s already a new “other woman” drama. Regardless if you were married or just dating, how would you feel if you found out that your best friend is currently dating your ex-partner?
Yesterday (Sunday, 7th January), Kasih Iris Leona posted a TikTok video of her sharing one of her 2023 traumas. In her video, the influencer can be seen tapping her phone screen with the broken glass effect filter with a text that reads, “My heart when my best friend got with my ex after we broke up”. In the captions, however, she clarified that she has since moved on from the trauma.

Although the 21-year-old didn’t mention any names, the video has led many to assume that she was referring to Nur Aisyah (also known as Cupcake Aisyah) and speculated that she was also the reason why Leona and her ex, Ryan broke up. Many did some digging and found an old YouTube vlog (uploaded a year ago) of the content creator and Ryan hanging out together at her home without Leona’s knowledge.
In the same vlog that resurfaced, Aisyah showed off her new Rolex watch to Leona and confessed that she and the influencer’s then-boyfriend hung out together the day before. The story blew up with netizens accusing the content creator of backstabbing her best friend as there’s an unspoken rule that one should never hang out with a friend’s lover alone, let alone date them.
Cupcake Aisyah has yet to respond to the speculations regarding her relationship with Leona’s ex-boyfriend but her mother, Sue Razip spoke up to defend her daughter. Taking to Instagram Story, Sue denied that her daughter is in a relationship with Ryan and demanded everyone stop spreading slander. “Remember that every story has two different sides and if you don’t want or haven’t heard an explanation from both sides, don’t be too quick to judge,” she said.
When asked for clarifications, the daughter of the actor Azhar Sulaiman refused to name the individual in her video saying, “I’m fine now. I just wanted to let it out because it’s been on my mind for a long time. I don’t want to confirm or deny who it is but I hope you won’t ask about our friendship anymore.” Guess this will probably be the only time she’ll ever talk about the situation.
