There’s likely no good that can come from running red lights or going over the speed limit, as fatal accidents can happen. Unfortunately, there have been cases of irresponsible individuals like this speeding delivery rider who smashed a car’s side mirror after almost crashing into it.

Earlier today (Tuesday, 18th July), a dashcam recording from an unsourced driver has been circulating on Twitter. It showed a minor road accident that occurred over the weekend at the Taman Makmur junction in Kulai, Johor. In the video, it was shown that every vehicle from the driver’s side of the road was waiting for the traffic light to turn green.

Aik….kau langgar lampu merah…kau langgar orang ..lepas tu nak patah balik marah orang tu pulak….sejenis spesis 🐖 ke apa kau ni?

A Foodpanda rider was then seen coming from the left side of the driver’s car, making his way to the right side when suddenly, a sped-up motorcyclist from behind, who was trying to run over the red light, hit the rider’s front tyre and knocked him off his motorcycle. Thankfully, the Foodpanda seemed to be fine as he quickly got back up.

The motorcyclist stopped in the middle of the road before turning back to the scene of the accident as the other vehicles started moving. However, instead of apologising and checking on the possibly injured delivery rider, the angry motorcyclist can be seen pointing and yelling at him for getting in his way as he was trying to speed through.

While there hasn’t been much reaction from netizens yet, the ones that commented so far sided with the rider. One even tagged the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to look into this matter. At the time of writing, there have been no updates regarding the accident.

Since we clearly saw in the video who is at fault, we hope that the authorities will take action against the irresponsible motorcyclist.
