(Video) Japanese Man Climbs To The Top Of Mt. Kinabalu In A Business Suit

There’s a saying that you need to dress for the occasion but this man took it to the next level by dressing up for literally any and every occasion. Who would’ve thought that we’d see someone in a business suit climbing up one of the tallest mountains in the world?

Recently, a Japanese man went viral all over social media for climbing up to the peak of Mount Kinabalu in Sabah wearing only a blue business suit and brown leather shoes. Tailor and clothing enthusiast Nobutaka Sada caught everyone’s attention when videos of him hiking up the mountain went up on TikTok.

As seen in the videos, the other mountaineers had on proper climbing gear as well as appropriate clothing to keep themselves safe and warm from the cold but Sada was the only one unconventionally (yet stylishly) dressed during the expedition. As for the reason he chose to don the three-piece suit, he told TikTok user @rogonnabalu_25 that he had a “business meeting” to attend at the top of the iconic mountain.

Netizens reacted to the viral videos of the Japanese man with many being amazed by the fact that he was able to make the arduous journey in just his formal wear. It was reported that the group managed to reach the mountain’s peak that day where the “business” foreigner took a few photos of himself enjoying the breathtaking view. He even posted on his Facebook to share his experience of climbing Mount Kinabalu.

“I was able to stay in a hut in the middle of the starlight, climb up the steep area, and enjoy the view at the top of the mountain! SADA’s suit is okay for climbing Mount Kinabalu (^^)!” he wrote. The fancy-dressed man also shared that he was surprised that he went viral after another foreigner approached him at the airport to show the TikTok videos of him.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Nobutaka Sada’s first time climbing up a mountain in a suit. He’s actually a content creator who has posted videos of himself on YouTube going on all kinds of adventures, mostly mountain climbing, while wearing his 3-piece blue business outfit.

According to his Facebook post, Sada said he will soon upload his Mount Kinabalu expedition once it’s ready. We’re very much looking forward to that!
