If there’s one thing we can rely on celebrities or influencers for, it’s that they can experience or purchase things that are unbelievably expensive, so we don’t have to. Many have shared their honest opinions on certain viral products to determine whether they are worth the hype and the money.
Actress and singer Janna Nick is one of those public figures. Last year, she reviewed Dubai’s Fix Dessert Chocolatier, which had gone viral, and revealed that she spent SGD$59 (RM205) on each bar of chocolate. She has done it again recently, but this time, the desserts cost roughly the same as a fresh graduate’s starting salary. Watch:
In her latest TikTok post, Janna Nick excitedly announced that she had received packages of chocolate she had ordered from Dubai. After collecting her order from the delivery man, she revealed that she had spent over RM2,500. “These are the most expensive chocolates I have ever bought, guys! All the way from Dubai,” she said in the video.
As for what makes these sweets so special and expensive, the obvious factor is their size. During the unboxing, the “Rasa Cinta” songstress took out two jumbo-sized Nature’s Own Factory chocolate bars from the parcels, as well as one large Creations By AlHallab chocolate, which comes in a cassette-themed package. She then asked her fans to suggest which of the three large chocolates she should try first in an upcoming review video.
If you’re curious to know how much each chocolate bar costs, according to the receipt Janna shared, the two from the Nature’s Own Factory brand were RM950 each, while the one from Creations by AlHallab cost RM720. The shipping cost, however, was not mentioned, so we can only imagine how much Janna Nick spent in total.
Fans reacted to the TikTok post, with some suggesting which chocolate they’d like to see the star try first, while many were surprised by the prices of the products. Others joked that she and her husband, actor Dini Schatzmann, now have a year’s supply of chocolate. We’re looking forward to her review and, hopefully, Janna will get her money’s worth.
