(Video) “Is This GTA 6?”: 20+ Police Cars Seen In High-Speed Pursuit Of Perodua Bezza In Cyberjaya

The roads late at night are usually uneventful as most people would already be at home to rest up. However, there have been many reports of crimes being committed in the middle of the night like the high-speed car chase that resulted in a police officer accidentally shooting himself in the arm a few years back.

We’ve seen a few car chases on the road before but very rarely do we see more than 10 police cars chasing 1 runaway vehicle. While it can be exciting to witness such a scene, it does make one wonder, what exactly this Perodua Bezza driver did to result in this many police cars on their tail.

Earlier today (Tuesday, 5th December), several videos from different angles were posted on social media, showing a car chase between the police and a Perodua Bezza car. It is believed that the incident happened around 2:30am in Cyberjaya. As seen in the video above, multiple police cars were in pursuit of the Perodua Bezza. The sound of the police sirens was loud enough to attract a lot of attention from the residents in the surrounding area.

According to several eyewitnesses, the chase allegedly started from Sunway City before making its way to Cyberjaya. In a tweet by Cyberjaya Info, the chase ended at Taman Tasik after the Perodua Bezza collided with one of the police cars. There is currently no information on whether or not both the suspect(s) and officer(s) in the cars sustained any serious injuries from the collision.

In another video posted by @yongl95 taken from his apartment building nearby, it was revealed that more than 20 police cars were in pursuit of the runaway vehicle. Netizens reacted to the viral videos of the car chase with most of them being amused by the scene. Many compared the exciting scene to be similar to the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) games and some even joked that the incident was a way to promote the upcoming 6th instalment of the famous franchise.

Others were genuinely curious about the case since many police cars were involved in chasing that 1 Perodua Bezza driver. At the time of writing, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident earlier this morning, however, according to Harian Metro, a total of 2 suspects were arrested while the other 2 managed to escape.
